What a great weekend we had! After a long week with John David working a lot of hours we relished family time this past weekend. Friday night we did some grilling and enjoyed a long dinner just catching up with each other. While we were catching up Jake found some things to entertain himself....
Taking all the books off the shelf seems like a perfectly logical activity while mom and dad are talking! He is giving us a "War Eagle!" in this picture.
We got the hint and John David became the tickle monster....
He brings us so much joy!
After a fun night and staying up late we all had a very lazy Saturday morning....

Then we decided to get ourselves dressed and get out and enjoy the beautiful weather...
Our first stop was to get Jake and John David a hair cut! Sadly I had tried to give Jake a big boy haircut that did not turn out very straight...SO he got to go with his Daddy and get it straightened up! He LOVED it! He got to enjoy a "sucker ball" which is a very rare treat for him. He also loves to have his hair combed, so he was practically in a coma the whole time.
It turned out to be such a fun experience for all of us
We ended up grabbing some lunch and doing a little shopping then found ourselves near a construction site! Very exciting for a boy of 18months! Both the boys enjoyed telling Mommy about the Bulldozers, Tractors, Backhoes, and Bobcats....
It was a fantastic to spend the whole weekend together!
