It is officially Summer Break! Let the fun and adventures begin! No better way to get summer kicked off than with a birthday party down on the farm and a trip to see YaYa!
The birthday of two super cool 5 year old twin boys could not have been more fun for Jake (and his mommy and daddy)! First of all...they had TRACTORS-a-plenty!
He really looks right at home driving that tractor don't ya think?
And there were TONS of really neat animals including this guy!
and this really cool turkey! I had never seen a black and white turkey!
Even a Camel! There were also pigs, sheep, puppies, and a zebra!
Jake was telling the ducks and chickens what was up!
We even got to take a tractor ride through the farmer's pastures and meet his horses, cows and lamas!
When we thought it couldn't have gotten any better...Jake took his first horse ride! (this was a major shock to his mommy!)
What an awesome day! Happy Birthday to Jake's big boy buddies!
The next day Jake and I loaded up the car and headed for Atlanta to visit my mom (YaYa) for a little late Mother's day celebration.
We got the trip started on the right note with some fro-yo!
YaYa also took us to her swimming pool and to a local park to play!
Jake usually doesn't sleep well the first day in a new place, so that meant I got to enjoy napping with him...
It was a really quick but fun trip to Atlanta! Jake got to spend some good quality time with his YaYa meet a lot of her friends and her "meow cats!"
