Jake's first Auburn Football game

This is a day that will go down in history for Mr. Jake...his first Auburn Football game!  We hyped up this game for days before.  Jake went to bed several nights in a row asking if he was going to see "Aubie Football" tomorrow.  The logistics were a challenge.  We knew he wouldn't last long, so JD went to campus very early and parked a car for Jake and I to ride out in.  After the logistical challenges we were all on campus together!

It was pretty overwhelming for him....he had so much to look at!

Then we got into the stadium and took care of the first order of business...Food!

Our seats face the opposing team's cheerleaders and mascot, so Jake got pretty excited about the "War Hawk"  I think he that the war hawk was one of Aubie's buddies.

He felt like I do...the pregame is the most fun!  He saw the eagle fly and got to sing along with the marching band!

(Disclaimer: we say give em "hey" instead of "h*ll" some un-child friendly fans around us did not do the same.  I never realized that pretty much all of the auburn cheers and songs need to be edited!)

After the game started he watched the war hawk for a while and searched for Aubie on the field for a while...then he was done!  We made it about half way through the first quarter!

On our way out of the stadium Jake found a tractor!  He is the only person who can spot a tractor at a football game!  So of course we had to drive it for a while...

After a pretty long trek back to the car he was totally done!  He fell asleep as soon as we got in the car and then slept at home for another 3 hours!

It was a great day!  It is the greatest thing for a mother to watch her child having their dreams come true and having fun!
